New speculative building located near the Greenville Spartanburg Airport and the Inland Port.

McGillicuddy Concrete was asked to help create an expansive new speculative building located near the Greenville Spartanburg Airport and the Inland Port.

This 265,000 square-foot facility will provide three possible store fronts for future, to-be-determined tenants.

For this build, McGillicuddy Concrete worked alongside the contractors at THS Constructors. For the exterior walls, we used the “tilt-up concrete” method. Our team hand-crafts these walls on-site using wood forms, rebar, and concrete and then moves the massive panels into place using a 550 ton crane. To finish out the project, a welder goes around the entire perimeter of the building to weld the metal plates in place.

The McGillicuddy Story

Miguel Murillo and Sean McGillicuddy began this business with one simple vision: be the best concrete contractor by providing excellence in quality and service for commercial clients. This “best in quality and service” vision is the guiding principle that our team carries with them on every job site. For McGillicuddy, it’s not about landing the biggest project, it’s about doing the best commercial concrete work possible for each and every client.

Every member of our leadership team has risen up through the ranks. We know how the job is supposed to be done, because we’ve done every job. We’ve been laborers who rose to project superintendents and beyond. This is why we’re so dedicated to training quality employees and building the best team in the business.
