Union Medical Center
Union's new hospital stands huge at 99,600 sf, on a total piece of land of 48 acres.
McGillicuddy Concrete worked together with the general contractor to create a new hospital that is functional and beautiful. Our responsibilities on this project included pouring the foundation of the hospital and its basement, waterproofing the basement and foundational walls, pouring the concrete driveways, building concrete walls, and finishing touches on the concrete slab.
The project even includes a beautifully designed healing garden, partially funded by Dolly Parton, where patients can enjoy nature as part of their recovery. The new hospital offers various health care services, including primary care, emergency care, imaging, outpatient services, pharmacy, and labs. Union Medical Center is expected to serve about 60,000 patients annually. Our crews' commitment to excellence ensured the safe, on-time, and successful completion of this important project for our community.
