Sean McGillicuddy

Sean’s career began in 2003, working as a laborer in an asphalt quality control lab for United Contractors Midwest in Springfield, IL. What started as a summer job turned into a career, progressing from laborer into various management positions within the company. In 2008, Sean and his then-fiancé relocated to Spartanburg and fell in love with the area. In 2011, Sean tired of the travel required of heavy highway work and, wanting to start a family, began transitioning into structural concrete. Sean’s day-to-day duties include estimating and contract negotiation, project management and getting into the field as much as he can. Sean is active in the American Society of Concrete Contractors where he serves on the Emerging Leaders and Membership committees. Sean believes that the key to our success is hiring the best people and giving them the tools and technology to succeed at their job. In his free time, Sean enjoys spending time with his family and friends outdoors.
